MONROE CITY TEEN FACES CHARGES AFTER ACCIDENT

A Monroe City teen faces charges of DWI and failure to drive on the right half of the road following an accident around 1:15 Sunday morning. The State Highway Patrol says 18-year-old Jordyn Castro’s car went off Route C, 11 miles west of Palmyra, and hit a tree and utility pole. She was taken privately to Hannibal.
