A senior at Monroe City High School is one of the newest ambassadors for the Missouri Pork Association. William Crain was selected during this year’s Missouri Pork Expo in Columbia. Crain works on his family’s farm as well as other pork operations in the Monroe City area, and is active with Monroe City FFA and Mark Twain 4-H. He’ll spend the next year participating in various events in the pork industry, and receive a one-thousand dollar scholarship. Crain plans to attend Moberly Area Community College in the fall, majoring in horticulture, with plans to open a landscaping business while staying involved with the family farm.
