Monroe City Panthers Play Perennial Power Charleston in Semifinals Friday

The sixth-ranked Monroe City boys face third-ranked Charleston in the state semifinals tomorrow (Fri.) on Glory 97. Head coach Brock Edris scouts Charleston ahead of Monroe City’s first trip to state since 1995.
Edris says some of the principles from a 43-41 quarterfinal win opposite Central of Kansas City are relevant to the semifinal matchup against Charleston.
27-4 Charleston beat Ava 79-56 in the quarterfinals. Four Blue Jays average 12-plus points per game.
