Monroe City Man Injured in an ATV Accident

A Monroe City man was injured in an ATV accident near his hometown Friday night. The State Highway Patrol reports 30-year old Seth Hayes was the passenger on an ATV operated by Shawn Powell of Monroe City. While riding on county road 225 just north of the Monroe City limits, Hayes fell off the vehicle and was partially ran over by the ATV. Hayes received moderate injuries and was transported to a Hannibal hospital for treatment.
