That’s John Rooney with the final call on the Cardinals Radio Network and Superstation KRES as Yadier Molina’s sac-fly in the bottom of the 10th saved the season for St. Louis, sending them to a 5-4 win over Atlanta Monday evening to force a Game 5. The Redbirds started off hot, with both Paul Goldschmidt and Marcell Ozuna homering in the bottom of the first to post the Cards to a quick 2-0 lead. Ozzie Albies’ sac-fly in the third cut that lead in half, but Ozuna smacked a second solo homer in the fourth to push the advantage back to 3-1. Goldschmidt led the way at the plate with three hits on the night.

Miles Mikolas got the win in relief pitching a scoreless 10th. Mikolas says elimination games bring out the best in them.

Julio Teheran took the loss for Atlanta. Dakota Hudson went just 4 2/3 in his first postseason start, striking out and walking two, allowing four runs, but only one earned, on five hits.

The series now shifts back to Atlanta and SunTrust Park for a winner-take-all Game 5 Wednesday evening. The Cardinals will send Jack Flaherty to the mound against the Braves’ Mike Foltynewicz. First pitch is set for 4:02, with pregame coverage on KRES starting at 3:07.
