Moberly Utilities Director Discusses How Bonding Works
June 7, 2020 6:21AM CDT
During the Municipal Election, Moberly voters approved a measure allowing the city to issue revenue bonds in the amount of $18 million to support utilities projects. Utilities Director Mary West-Calcagno says the funding will come from the State Revolving Fund.
There does appear to be some good news concerning the funds that are available.
Local officials will continue to look at other sources of funding too.
One of the first projects being targeted is the Sturgeon Street water main.
