Moberly Sweeps Marshall, Huffman Shines on Senior Night

The Moberly teams swept Marshall in big ways with the girls winning 65-36 and the boys winning 75-45. In the opening game of the night the Lady Spartans jumped out to a 19-7 advantage and never looked back.

Moberly improves to 12-7 on the season. Marshall was led by senior Alexis Neff with 18 points. The Lady Owls fall to 5-14.

The Spartans led by just two points after the opening quarter against the Owls. Senior Collin Huffman delivered nine of his 20 points on Senior Night in the second quarter.

Coach Brett Boyer spoke about Huffman’s big night.

Derieus Wallace contributed 12 points, Cameron Doubrava poured in 15 points and sophomore Mason Bivins provided three triples off the bench for Moberly. The Spartans earn their third win of the season at 3-15, also setting their season-high for points in a game. Marshall falls to 3-17.
