Moberly Schools Update Recording Policy

The Moberly School Board last week approved a policy change recommended by the Missouri School Boards’ Association. Superintendent Dr. Dustin Fanning says it has to do with the new law allowing parents to record Individual Education Plan and Section 504 meetings, which are used to determine accommodation for students with special needs.

The law allows parents to record the meetings to have a comprehensive set of notes as to what is agreed to.
