A representative from Hollis and Miller updated the Moberly School Board on the plans for the new alternative school and the Early Childhood Learning Center expansion this week. Superintendent Dr. Dustin Fanning says the facilities committee has been working to modify the construction plans to get in under budget.

The plans will also have fewer parking spaces to start, but more could be added at a later date if needed. The changes will mean the construction timeline is being pushed back some.

The board also heard that COVID numbers in the district have dropped into the single digits this week, and the CDC is no longer requiring passengers to wear masks on buses.
