The Moberly School District is progressing on plans for a new alternative school adjacent to the high school. Dr. Dustin Fanning was pleased with the turnout at last week’s public forum.

Fanning says there will be a few more meetings to finish designing the building and identifying the exact location of the building. The school board heard the final numbers from the bond sale on Tuesday.

In April, Moberly voters approved a $17 million, no-tax-increase bond issue to pay for the alternative school and other construction.
