Moberly Officers Respond To A Gunshot Near Downtown

Moberly Police Officers responded to the area of West Rollins and Thompson Street Sunday night in reference to a physical altercation, with a gunshot heard. The officers learned the subjects involved had fled the scene. While searching the area, officers located evidence of a physical altercation and a shell casing. The officers identified the victim and learned he sustained minor injuries. During the alleged altercation, a firearm was discharged with no one being shot. The suspect is at large. The incident is currently being investigated by the Moberly Police
