Moberly Notches Road Win Over Marshall

The Moberly Spartans scored on their first two drives and held on to win at Marshall 20-6 for their second straight victory. The Spartans overcame a 1st and 28 due to penalties to score on their first drive of the game.

Brad Boyer with the call on KWIX-AM and centralmoinfo.com. The Spartans added a score on a six-yard run by Collin Huffman in the second quarter. The Owls had the ball first and goal from the four late in the first half but were denied the endzone and Moberly led 14-0 at the half. Marshall followed a Moberly fumble with its only score of the game on a touchdown pass from Jaxson Case to Andre Smith in the third quarter. In the fourth quarter, the Spartans got a 4th and one stop in Marshall territory and then iced the game late.
