MOBERLY MEETS UNFAMILIAR DISTRICT SEMIFINAL OPPONENT IN LUTHERAN ST. CHARLES
Moberly enters 7-3 while Lutheran St. Charles sits 8-2. McDowell says he’s pleased with Moberly’s practice approach after a 35-0 district quarterfinal win versus Fulton.
Lutheran St. Charles features sophomore quarterback Aaron Coffey and sophomore running back Arlen Harris, Jr. Coffey has tossed 17 touchdowns and just three interceptions, and Harris, Jr. averages more than 11 yards per carry with 27 touchdowns. McDowell scouts the sophomore duo.
The Spartans have held three straight opponents to less than 250 total yards. Arlen Harris’ Cougars are fresh off their sixth shutout and third in the last four games.
