MOBERLY MEETS UNFAMILIAR DISTRICT SEMIFINAL OPPONENT IN LUTHERAN ST. CHARLES

Moberly football visits Lutheran St. Charles for a district semifinal contest Friday on KWIX. Spartans head coach Cody McDowell says there are a lot of unknowns in this matchup.

Moberly enters 7-3 while Lutheran St. Charles sits 8-2. McDowell says he’s pleased with Moberly’s practice approach after a 35-0 district quarterfinal win versus Fulton.

Lutheran St. Charles features sophomore quarterback Aaron Coffey and sophomore running back Arlen Harris, Jr. Coffey has tossed 17 touchdowns and just three interceptions, and Harris, Jr. averages more than 11 yards per carry with 27 touchdowns. McDowell scouts the sophomore duo.
