Moberly Mayor Jeffrey Remembers Former Mayor Rucker As A Community Leader

Former Moberly Mayor, 81-year old Robert “Lawrence” Rucker, died Monday. He served on the Moberly City Council from 1992 to 2007 and was mayor from 2000 to 2007. Current Moberly Mayor Jerry Jeffrey said Rucker impacted the community in many ways….

Rucker also served on the Planning and Zoning Commission Board.

The funeral for Lawrence Rucker will be Monday at 12:00 at Cater Funeral Home Chapel, in Moberly. Visitation will held from 10:00 until service time at the funeral home. Committal prayer and burial will take place at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
