Moberly Man Seriously Injured In Motorcycle Crash

One man was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash outside of Moberly at around 2:28 Wednesday afternoon. According to the State Highway Patrol, 28-year-old Zachary Wickenheiser of Moberly was headed east on Route M one mile east of Moberly on a motorcycle when he crossed the center line, struck the left front of an SUV driven by 59-year-old Sherry Gumm of Moberly, and was ejected. Wickenheiser was taken to Columbia. Gumm sustained minor injuries, but refused treatment at the scene.
