Moberly Man Killed in Boone County Accident

A Moberly man is dead after an accident on Highway 63 in Boone County Monday afternoon. The State Highway Patrol says 59-year-old Mark Swindell’s pickup crashed into a truck that pulled out in front of him on Highway 63 at Breedlove around 4:20pm. Swindell’s pickup went off the road, down an embankment, and hit a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The semi driver, 25-year-old Brandon Wainman of Centralia, had no reported injuries.
