A Moberly man is in custody after being in a standoff with police. The incident occurred at a residence in the 300 block of West End Place at 11:30am Sunday. A man with two Randolph County warrants for burglary, 27-year old Andrew Swartz, was holed up at the residence. Missouri State Highway Patrol negotiators were called in to deal with the situation. At around 1pm, Swartz surrendered without further incident. He was arrested for the burglary warrants and new charges are currently pending. Swartz is being held in the Randolph County Justice Center on a bond of $19,950.
