Moberly Man Arrested and Charged Following Randolph County Chase
A rural Moberly man was arrested just after 11:30 Friday morning after he led authorities on a chase throughout Randolph County Thursday night. Randolph County Deputies arrested 18-year old Triston Paul Rainer of rural Moberly on a warrant for felony assault and felony resisting arrest. Deputies had attempted to pull Rainer over for careless driving on Morley Street in Moberly. Rainer ended up leading the deputies on a chase through Moberly and Huntsville. During the chase a deputy was almost struck by Rainer’s pickup truck. The chase ended south of Huntsville on County Road 2160 when Rainer abandoned the vehicle. Randolph County Deputies, the Missouri State Highway Patrol, and the Moberly Police Department all searched the area before he was located late Friday morning on county road 2435.
