MOBERLY HOSTS NEW LOOK NCMC POWER HANNIBAL AFTER ST. CLAIR’S RETIREMENT
McDowell says Hannibal’s sophomore quarterback Courtland Watson is doing a good job running the new offense.
Hannibal head coach Quentin Hamner notes Watson receives a boost from stud junior running back Damien French.
The First Team All-NCMC performer French rushed for 224 yards and three touchdowns versus Fulton last week. Hamner is a Clark County graduate who replaced Hall of Fame coach Mark St. Clair. The Pirates started 0-3 before a 3-0 start to NCMC play.
Moberly enters 1-1 in conference and 4-2 overall. Coverage of Moberly and Hannibal Friday on KWIX and centralmoinfo.com starts at 6:40pm with Brad Boyer and Eric Duick on the call. The Lindy’s College Football Report leads into the broadcast at 6:05pm.
