Moberly welcomes Hannibal for a battle of recent NCMC powers on KWIX Friday. The Spartans defeated the Pirates in both the 2017 regular season and postseason before Hannibal reclaimed its conference title last year. Moberly recorded its first NCMC win against Marshall last week, but the Spartans had trouble with snaps in the pistol formation rotating three different centers. Coach Cody McDowell believes it will be better this week.

The First Team All-NCMC performer French rushed for 224 yards and three touchdowns versus Fulton last week. Hamner is a Clark County graduate who replaced Hall of Fame coach Mark St. Clair. The Pirates started 0-3 before a 3-0 start to NCMC play.
