A 23-year Air Force veteran and 1980 graduate of Moberly High School addressed Moberly Middle School students and faculty during an assembly Monday. Retired Master Sergeant Dorothy Latson explains why she decided to enter the military.
Latson says the military has been a rewarding career.
A number of veterans were recognized during the gathering, which was conducted by the student council officers, the 8th grade band, and honor choir. The Moberly High School JROTC Unit also presented the colors.
