Moberly Girls Win Second Straight District Title in Dominant Fashion

The Moberly Lady Spartans rolled to their second straight district championship with a 74-30 win over the Mexico Lady Bulldogs. Mexico held a brief early lead but it was all Lady Spartans from there.

Moberly had a stretch in the first half scoring 22 straight points.

It’s the sixth district championship in program history. Vestal was proud of how his team approached the week.

The 26-2 Lady Spartans will host Orchard Farm in sectionals Monday. Mexico’s season ends at 12-16.
