Camryn Crist of Moberly will be one of several girls from across the state of Missouri competing this week for the crown of Miss Missouri Outstanding Teen at Missouri Military Academy in Mexico. Crist enters the competition as Miss Northeast’s Outstanding Teen. She received the title last summer. At the Miss Missouri, Outstanding Teen Crist will compete in talent, fitness, and evening gown contests. Crist will play the piano for the judges and audience during the talent contest. She also enters pageant week having raised the most money in the nation for Miss America’s Outstanding Teen Scholarship fund. Crist has partnered with several area businesses for fundraising efforts. She recently worked with Sweet Smith Cookie Company of Moberly to sell “Kick-Off to the Summer” cookie decorating kits. For being the highest fundraiser, Crist received a 250-dollar Amazon gift card for her efforts.

The Miss Missouri Outstanding Teen Pageant week kicks off tomorrow (Mon.) with a brunch. The preliminary contest will run from Tuesday through Thursday with a winner being crowned on Friday night.
