No one was injured but a Moberly home is a total loss following a fire late Thursday night. Interim Fire Chief Jerry Washam says they received the call to the 12 hundred block of Emerson about 11:30pm.
The bitterly cold weather made fighting the fire a challenge.
At this point the cause of the fire is undetermined. Crews were on the scene for just over three hours. The Moberly Police Department and Randolph County Ambulance District also responded to the scene. Roadways in the area were blocked as crews worked to extinguish the fire.
The Moberly Fire Department, Moberly Police Department and and Randolph County Ambulance District all responded to a house fire in the 12 hundred block of Emerson Street.
