Moberly Eyes Future of 911 Joint Dispatch Center

Moberly, Randolph County and the Randolph County Ambulance District have all signed off on a planned central dispatch center in Moberly. City Manager Brian Crane explains the early steps of this process.

Moberly’s current 911 center is a two-station operation. It will be converted to three stations once they turn it into the central dispatch center.

To account for the additional staff, more funds are needed.

The tax conversion will require voter approval. The central dispatch center is expected to become operational in 2027.
