Moberly Council Renews Agreement with Consulting Firm

The Moberly City Council has approved renewal of a consulting agreement with Zamkus and Associates. City Manager Brian Crane says this is especially beneficial in dealing with the state and the legislature.
Crane hopes to continue to push for Missouri to join the vast majority of other states that have an online sales tax.
If an online sales tax were in place, Crane says it would help deal with a shortfall in funding for 911 services.
The Moberly City Council approved the contract last Monday.
