Moberly Council Officially Approves Name Change to Shepherd Brothers Boulevard

The Moberly City Council has officially approved the name change of KWIX Road and Pig-N-Bun Roads. Public Works Director Tom Sanders says this will be after Dave and Dan Shepherd.

Sanders says this is appropriate for a couple of reasons, including uniformity.

The other is the importance of the Shepherd family, who founded the radio stations, and also assisted a local group with a sidewalk effort in that area.

Dave and Dan Shepherd are the sons of Jerrell Shepherd who started our first radio station, KNCM in 1950. KNCM eventually became KWIX.
