The Moberly City Council and the Randolph County Commission met in closed session last week, to discuss 911 services. Moberly City Manager Brian Crane says the city has a contract with Randolph County to provide 911 dispatch services to the sheriff’s department.

Randolph County Presiding Commissioner John Truesdell says the shortfall in collections from the state has presented some challenges.

Crane says following the joint meeting, the council went into a work session to discuss the new city budget.

The new Moberly budget will be approved this summer, and will begin July 1st.
