Moberly Council Considers Renaming KWIX and Pig n Bun Roads

The Moberly City Council has discussed the possibility of renaming KWIX and Pig n Bun Roads to Shepherd Boulevard, in recognition of the Shepherd family, that founded Regional Radio. Public Works Director Tom Sanders says this could also involve another project.

An effort to secure some of that funding is underway.

Sanders says the Shepherd family continues to mean a great deal to the community.

Another portion of the project would involve an area near Williams.

Sanders was also officially presented an award as Public Works Leader of the Year from the American Public Works Association.
