The Moberly City Council is being asked to support two housing projects that are seeking tax credits. City Manager Brian Crane…

Both projects were presented to the council during a work session Monday.

Crane says there has been some other interest in the old junior high building, that’s now owned by the city.

Though this project dealing with the old junior high building downtown is different than the last time it was brought forward, it has been presented to the state several times, and not received the tax credits. Applications for the tax credits are due in early September, with an announcement of which projects statewide will receive them, expected near the end of the year.
