Moberly City Manager Reacts To Wayfair Approval

Throughout the legislative session, many local government leaders had been calling on the General Assembly to approve a Wayfair proposal, or a sales tax on out-of-state purchases made online. Moberly City Manager Brian Crane was one of them.

The proposal was approved just before the session ended last month.

The bill contains an emergency clause, meaning it takes effect as soon as the governor signs it.
