Several neighbors signed a petition, and three residents attended Monday’s meeting to speak against the Airbnb request.
Crane says the Moberly City Council’s decision doesn’t change the city’s desire for more lodging.
Kyle Eagan operates several Airbnbs and argued a rental home wouldn’t interrupt neighbors, but the council sided with the residents.
