The Moberly School Board has decided to use the firm EdCounsel to assist in the search for the district’s new superintendent. Board President Bobby Riley says having the expertise of a consulting firm aid in the search is extremely valuable.
Earlier this week Dr. Matt Miller, who is in his fourth year as superintendent of the Moberly District, announced he will be leaving for the same position at Kearney. Riley says they hope to have the opening filled within a couple of months.
The board has tentatively scheduled another meeting for January 7th to continue the discussions that will lead to the hiring of the new superintendent.
