Moberly Area Technical Center Hosted SkillsUSA Districts Monday

Moberly Area Technical Center hosted a SkillsUSA district competition Monday. Chloe O’Donnell is a Moberly senior and Secondary Executive Vice President of Missouri SkillsUSA. She says the contests are specific to what classes the competitor is taking.

Eight schools from the northeast district competed: Brookfield, Hannibal, Kirksville, Macon, Mexico, Moberly, Pike-Lincoln and Putnam County. O’Donnell says the organization serves a useful purpose.

O’Donnell says it’s had a big personal impact.

Monday’s competition included 29 contests and 241 contestants.
