Moberly Approves Raises for City Employees; Firefighters See 14% Increase

The Moberly City Council approved about $500,000 worth of raises for city employees Monday. City Manager Brian Crane says the salary study recommendations take effect with the July 1st budget.

Crane reveals who benefited.

Raises of more than nine percent will be adjusted over two fiscal years.

Before the current fiscal year, Moberly approved a three percent raise for all city employees along with the Austin Peters salary study.
