Moberly Accident Victim Identified

The identity of the man struck and killed by a truck in Moberly over the weekend has been identified. 68-year-old Frank Joseph Appelgate of Moberly was walking in a parking lot shortly after 12:30pm Saturday in the 1800 block of East Outer Road when a 27-year-old man accidently backed into him with a pickup. Appelgate later succumbed to his injuries at a nearby hospital.
