MO Veterans Cemetery Jacksonville Breaks Ground on Columbarium Wall

The Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville held a groundbreaking ceremony for a new 960-niche columbarium wall Wednesday afternoon. The existing wall is expected to reach capacity this February. The chairman of the Missouri Veterans Commission, Kelly McClelland, says beginning a project like this is special.

Missouri Veterans Commission Executive Director Paul Kirchoff explains how the $1.6 million project will be funded.

A dedication for the wall is planned for June 1st of next year.
