Quarterback Kelly Bryant is expected to play. He suffered a sprained left knee on a late hit by Troy’s Travis Sailo last Saturday. At a news conference Tuesday, Bryant said he was about 90 percent and getting adjusted to wearing a brace. Odom does not expect a dropoff if the Tigers have to go with Taylor Powell, who played the second half against Troy.
Mizzou starting center Tristan Colon-Castillo says coordinator Derek Dooley has Powell and the rest of the entire offense ready.
Powell says he’s ready.
Wide receiver Jonathan Nance said Powell can handle the role.
The Tigers are 4-1, 1-0 in the SEC. Ole Miss is 3-3, 2-1 in the SEC following a 31-6 home win over Vanderbilt. Kickoff will be at 6pm. Pregame coverage from the Tiger Radio Network starts at 4pm.
