Mizzou Men Picked 11th, Mizzou Women Picked 12th in SEC

The media picked Mizzou’s men’s basketball team to finish 11th in the SEC this season. Kentucky was predicted to win the championship , followed by Arkansas and Tennessee. Reigning national player of the year Oscar Tshiebwe was named the Player of the Year. No Mizzou players were named to the all-conference teams.

Mizzou women’s basketball senior guard Haley Frank has been named to the Preseason All-Southeastern Conference Second Team. Frank led all current Missouri roster members with 15.0 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists last season. She led the SEC with a 46.2 percentage from beyond the arc and finished tied for 19th in the conference with 21 blocks. The Tigers host Northwest Missouri State in the first of two exhibitions at 7 p.m. next Wednesday. The Tigers open the regular season on the road against Missouri State on November 7th before returning to Mizzou Arena for the home opener against Bradley on November 10th. The Tigers were picked to finish 12th in the league by conference media members.
