Mizzou Helps Start SEC Media Days

Mizzou was one of three teams featured on the first day of SEC Media Days Monday. Missouri head coach Eliah Drinkwitz starts his fourth season in Columbia, where his teams have gone 17-19, and 11-14 in the conference. He says the competition for starting quarterback is ongoing.
Senior offensive lineman Javon Foster talked about the team’s attitude going into the season.
Junior defensive back Kris Abrams-Draine talked about the entire starting secondary to return this season.
Drinkwitz says defensive cordinator Blake Baker deserves credit for his work with the secondary.
The Tigers went 3-5 in the conference last season, finishing in 6th place in the East, and had an overall record of 6-7 after losing to Wake Forest in the Gasparilla Bowl. Senior defensive lineman Darius Robinson talked about what has to improve for the Tigers to have a winning record this season.
The Tigers open the season at home August 31st against South Dakota, and open conference play at Vanderbilt September 30th.
