Mizzou Flattened By Aggies

Texas A&M scored 21 first quarter points in a 35-14 win over Mizzou at Faurot Field Saturday. Mizzou finally got on the board with 8:09 left in the half.

Mike Kelly with the call from Learfield on the Tiger Network and 99.9, the Captain. Tyler Badie had 22 carries for 68 yards, and the one touchdown.

Jaylon Carlies had an interception late in the first half to keep the Aggies from going up four scores.

Carlies talked about being able to play the Aggies even over the final three quarters.

The fans also had energy as the team went to the locker room, loudly announcing their philosophical differences with Coach Eliah Drinkwitz’s decision to not try to get more points on the board before halftime.

Drinkwitz says building the team up to where fans want it takes time.

Connor Bazelak completed 29 of 43 passes for 230 yards, with no touchdowns and two interceptions. The Tigers had a season-high 13 penalties, for a total of 106 yards. Mizzou is now 3-4 overall, and 0-3 in the SEC. Texas A&M is 5-2, 2-2 in the conference. The Tigers are off next weekend, before playing at Vanderbilt on October 30th.
