MIZZOU BASKETBALL STARTS A NEW SEASON WEDNESDAY

The Mizzou men’s basketball team opens the regular season Wednesday night at home against Incarnate Word. After the Tigers’ 80-56 exhibition win over Central Missouri Friday night, Cuonzo Martin explained where the team needs to improve.
Freshman Kobe Brown led the team with 12 points. Brown converted three treys, brought in five rebounds and dished two assists on the way to a 4-for-9 shooting performance. Wednesday’s pregame starts at 6:30, and the tip is at 7, on Superstation KRES and centralmoinfo.com.
