Missouri now has over 1,031 confirmed cases of coronavirus and have tested 14,107 individuals for the virus as of Monday afternoon. In his daily briefing, Governor Mike Parson offered when the pandemic could reach its peak in Missouri.

Because of the newly forecasted potential peak in Missouri’s cases, Parson says the statewide social distancing order will extend past April 6th.

This past weekend, some of the Missouri State Parks saw a large amount of visitors. Parson was disappointed in some of the overcrowding and temporarily closing the parks down is on the table.

Parson also reiterated the State Emergency Management Agency purchased 6 million surgical masks, 5 million gloves, 5 million N95 masks and 900,000 faceshields this past weekend.
