Missourians Reminded to Keep Wildlife Wild this Summer

As summer approaches more Missourians will be taking advantage of the state’s many outdoor activities. While you’re out and about you may come across a wild baby animal. Shelby County Conservation Agent Kevin Lockard says it is best to leave them alone.

Lockard explains why a baby may be separated from its mother.

While Missourians are asked to keep their distance from wild animals, they are also encouraged to take a picture to share a unique moment with the state’s wildlife.
