Missouri Small Game Hunting Seasons Ongoing

While many Missouri hunters are still focused on the remaining deer seasons, there are a variety of small game seasons that are also ongoing. Both rabbit and quail seasons carry into early 2024. Shelby County Conservation Agent Kevin Lockard says these animals can be hunted with or without dogs.

Other small game seasons include squirrel, raccoon and coyote. Lockard says its important to review the rules and regulations for these different seasons.

All Missouri small game seasons require resident small game hunting permits.
