The Missouri Senate has formally approved the crimefighting package during the special legislative session. Senator Cindy O’Laughlin says the proposal is now in the hands of the House.

The Shelbina Republican is not sure what will happen when the measure is considered in the House.

The bill does have an emergency clause attached to it. So if the House passes the bill as is, and the governor signs it, the measure would take effect immediately. We will have a complete interview with Senator O’Laughlin Monday on KWIXLand This Morning.
