A day after reporting the largest number of COVID-19 cases in a 24-hour span, Missouri is reporting a new record total. The latest numbers released Sunday by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services show 413 new cases of COVID-19 in the Show-Me State. This brings the total number of positive cases in the state to 18,003. With more than 315,000 Missourians now tested for the virus, the state’s positive percent rate has increase slightly to 5.6 percent. While positive cases are rising, only one new death was reported yesterday, bringing the total number of deaths in the state to 956.
