With time beginning to run out for the 2021 Missouri Legislative Session, the House Elections and Elected Officials Committee began consideration on a pair of bills. Vice-Chair of the committee, Representative Peggy McGaugh, says one of the bills deals with paper ballots.

The legislation is a House committee substitute for House Bill 925. McGaugh is in favor of the bill. A second piece of legislation the House Elections and Elected Officials Committee is considering deals with campaign funds for childcare expenses.

McGaugh adds both bills will need to gain a lot of traction if they are to be approved before the end of the legislative session.

The 2021 Missouri Legislative Session is scheduled to end May 14th.
