The Missouri House of Representatives last week approved Governor Mike Parson’s request to send more than 200 state troopers and national guard members to the southern border. House Budget Committee member Tim Taylor discusses the funding for this request.
The Bunceton Republican adds the pros of sending state authorities to the border outweigh the cons.
The troopers and National Guard members will be working on a rotating basis of 30 days across a 90 day period. The funding still requires Missouri Senate approval.
