Missouri has seen its largest single day increase in new COVID-19 cases since the counting period began on March 8th. 389 more individuals have tested positive for the coronavirus bringing the statewide total to 17,590; however, the state has conducted over 311,000 PCR tests and the PCR positive percent rate remains steady at 5.5 despite the increase. Some additional good news from today’s numbers shows there are only 415 Missourians who are currently hospitalized due to the virus. That number is down 213 from Friday. 955 deaths have been reported.
