Missouri Governor Mike Parson made a huge announcement Thursday during his daily coronavirus briefing…
The statewide order was set to expire at the end of the day April 24th. The new date extends the order by nine days. Parson says Missouri will implement a four step plan to re-open the state’s economy.
The first step of the plan includes testing. Parson hopes they can eventually reach around 10,000 tests per day in the coming weeks.
Missouri’s COVID-19 positive count is at 5,111; however, the increase rate averages around 200-250 new cases per day over the past six days. The state has tested over 50,000 patients and has reported 152 deaths.
